WE GIVE AWAY $10,000 IN 1 HOUR!
We put Chattanooga area
charities in a hat...
We pull 3 names
and hear about them...
We select 1 local charity to
receive 100 $100 donations!
Our mission is to financially support our community by engaging at least 100 women to each contribute $100 on a quarterly basis. That's $400, multiplied by 100 (or more!), that will be donated to
local charities, which means at least $40,000 will go right back
into our community! All charities and organizations up for consideration must be in or serve the Chattanooga area. The idea is to keep it local and have an impact that we can see in our communities.
Witness the Power of 100
100 Women Who Care is for you if:
You don’t have time in your busy life to volunteer but have been wanting to help those in need, and you can commit to one hour every three months
You are involved with other groups but are interested in meeting other women philanthropists in Chattanooga;
You want 100% of your donations to go directly to a local charity;
You want your $100 donation to become a part of a larger amount of money by joining together with other women—creating a powerful impact in our local area.
HOW IT WORKS
WHO WE ARE
100 Women Who Care was started in November of 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, Michigan, as a brilliantly simple way to raise
money efficiently and quickly for local charities. Her group of 100 women, at their first one-hour meeting, each wrote a check for $100 directly to the charity, raising over $10,000 to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in their city. By 2014, the year of Karen’s death, the chapter raised over $400,000 for their local charities. There are now over 250 Women Who Care chapters across North America and beyond. Started in 2019, the Chattanooga Chapter is led by a committee of local women who are passionate about their community.
